I like the idea of the dial at the end; however, I use some B leads and the dial only covers F-H. Also, when you push the button to release the lead it turns the dial. The holder feels heavy to me and is rough where you hold it. I much prefer the Staedtler-Mars Technico lead holder which is compatible with the Staedtler leads that come with color-coded pencil ends to mark which lead is in which holder.
