AC-Adapter is a must-have! May 24, 2010 Xiaonomama (Chicago suburb USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used to use this unit (an older version) at my old work and loved it. Since I no longer have an access to it, it was time to buy one for myself. I shopped around and read many reviews and it turned out PT-2100 was the best price with an AC-adapter. I read that those battery-operated versions use up batteries pretty fast. The seller ([...]) was great. Fast delivery and free gift (USB cable) was a nice touch. I wish I knew how to shorten each label by not having so much blank seams at the beginning and the end of each lable. That is such a waste of tapes (that is why I gave four-stars)! Then again, I think this is exactly what the manufacturer had in mind to force you buy more of those expensive tapes. Still, it is a great unit and I highly recommend it.
Probably more than I needed May 14, 2010 David T. Quintavalle (New York, NY United States) I am very happy with this label maker although it is probably much more than I needed for my tasks. The fact that it came with an adapter makes it a very good deal for the price.
Organization help March 31, 2010 J. Send I bought this to label all of those storage boxes in my attempt to organize my house a little.
I have labels on all of our arts and craft supplies boxes, hand-me downs waiting for my kids to grow into them.
I even labeled my husbands tool box.
It's kind of addicting.
Works great
My only complaint and it may be a user default is that I can't figure out how to make it so it doesn't waste so much tape, each time I print it spits out quite a bit of extra material on either end of the word.
Love Our Labeler March 13, 2010 flowerangel11 (Maryland) Love it, does exactly what it's supposed to do and having the AC adapter makes more sense than continually paying for batteries. Definitely glad we picked this one!
Excellent features and performance, some learning curve February 23, 2010 L. Hines (Malibu, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The more advanced features take some work to master, and I probably bought more functionality than I needed, but this is an excellent unit, and the variety of label media it can handle is impressive. The extra adhesive labels are very good for many outdoor applications and seem quite uv resistant. The batteries last a long time and make it easy to move around without having to lug the a/c adapter.
