Totally inaccurate piece of crap September 4, 2010 Ann E. Kottner (Bronx, NY) The coin stacks on this sorter are consistently 1-3 coins short, no matter how tightly the coins are packed into the wrappers, so unless you're prepared to count as the coins go in (and really, that's the point of buying a sorter, isn't it? So you don't have to count?), you're going to come up several dollars short across a couple hundred dollars worth of assorted wrapped coins. Don't waste your money.
Works great! September 2, 2010 C. Ruzin (Austin, TX USA) I've discovered a new thing that's as mesmerizing as a campfire, waterfall or girls volleyball team: this coin sorter! Because it's clear, you can see how the thing works and it's kind of fun watching the coins fall into the sleeves. Maybe I'm just easily entertained?
After checking out several automated machines and reading about jams and other headaches, I decided to spring for this one instead. I'm very happy with the product. It's bigger than I expected and built well considering it's mostly plastic. The best part is there are no jams! Just go backwards a turn or two and you're golden!
Sorts coins great August 31, 2010 M. V. Damiano Bought for my daughter to play with money. Every once in a while it will catch a coin wrong and you have to back spin it just a bit to dislodge, but it always sorts correctly. That is unless you spin it backwards. Then everything will go into the quarter slot.
Great sorter August 27, 2010 F. B. Collins (Bellevue, WA USA) This is a simple but well planned device that does its sorting job without requiring power. It rarely jams but is easy to clear if a jam occurs. It is fast, accurate and always ready to use.
great tool August 19, 2010 carmudgeon A great, handy coin counter. Large bin on top to toss loose change in until sorted - beats the jar or drawer I used before. Looks good with appealing design,.
